Any updates regarding textmate in leopard's spaces? It's still a problem.
All my textmate windows cluster together on one space, and I'm constantly chasing around the find window across spaces..

What is the status with smooth-scrolling support in Leopard? Admittedly I am not a hard-core user of Textmate, but this feature is pretty important to me. I rely on it in Safari, so I am not really interested in switching off the global preference in 'Appearance' System Preference as outlined above, nor nuking the .prefs file as suggested. My use of Textmate is much diminished as a result and I have gone back to using emacs for serious editing.

robert: See input managers under Leopard and how Safari 3.1 cripples Edit in TextMate.

Other than that, things are fine (wrote this comment via the input manager :) ).

what is the status with Leopard and editing in textMate? I am reading something about the InputManagers... will or won't work.
Let's keep this app around.

thanks

Sam: Switch to cutting edge in Preferences → Software Update.

As for this API, all it does is allow me to set a flag for each window which tells Spaces that the window shall re-open on the active space, rather than the one where it was last used (the default).

Regarding this:

Update: Joe Ranieri informs me that there actually is API for this. An update will be out soon where the Find window does follow the active space.

When is this update going to be released, and when will TextMate work flawlessly with Spaces? - what I want is different mate windows running in different Spaces, e.g. not all swarm to the same Space.
